Things are difficult lately, what with a really nasty case of the flu, moving to a large city, and having a date turn out to be not quite what I expected on Monday.
I have so many things to tell about, O my brothers, sisters, and friends, but right now I still need to lay low for a while and collect myself.
Till then, I'm okay, still here with my wonderful partners in Chi-town, and taking it easy.
Where are the new pics?? It's so nice being single again. Nobody telling me what I can and can't do. Nobody worrying about how my person is affecting their image...... Nobody making me account for my every waking minute. Nobody worrying that I'm swooning over an adorable redhead with a fantastic voice.... "He's" so CUTE!!!! But he got married... He'll learn. He's a smart one. It sure has been different without you around. I feel a lot better now that I can talk to you again. It might seem like I was there for you, but you were very much there for me (and still are, thank you). It was hard not having much money. Aaon is home, bye!! Connie

I'm glad to be able to talk to my friend again, too, Connie.
Hey there.. just wanted to say hi! I just found your blog tonight and it's made for some fun and inspirational reading. I'm scheduled to be starting HRT in about 3 months, doing electrolysis now (yay, got a Captain America chin tonight from the 2 hour session today). Your "progress photos" page is really neat; a really dramatic change there! I'm starting out with a slightly less masculine facial structure than you did, so I'm even more excited now...
And it's cool you're sharing your prescription info -- a lot of people are afraid to do that, but how can we learn what works best without exchanging knowledge?

Hi Meg!!
I am so happy for you that you are starting your HRT!! From knowing Milla I know making that decision can be really difficult, so **HUGS**. Milla's emotional and social "progress photos" have been just as dramatic (you can finally see the smile :) And it's been such a blessing to finally get to meet *her*. How are you going about your transition? Are you seeing a gender specialist? What are people's attitudes about transitioning where you are?

Hi Meg! Nice to hear from you.
Sharing new knowledge and experiences is what I started the site for. I'm glad the Internet provides a medium of communication for us, an otherwise very secretive bunch of people whom doctors and scientists don't even always agree on.
Glad you like it, and huge congrats on beginning your journey to being yourself. =)
